If you're a Harry Potter fan like me, I'm sure you've also been waiting for the fourth movie to come out. My brother and I have this thing about watching Harry Potter movies on the first day, and today was no different. We've been planning this day for so long. As soon as we came out of the movie theater after watching Prisoner of Azkaban, I think.

Anyway, my brother bought tickets for the 11:15am showing of 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' at the Eastwood Cinemas. That meant that I couldn't afford to sleep after I get home (I'm in the night shift), because that would then mean that I wouldn't be able to wake up in time for us to leave the house to go to Eastwood.

So what I did was, after getting home, I ate breakfast and watched 3 episodes of Sex and the City (I'm in my Sex and the City marathon phase, currently watching Season 4). We left the house at 10am and arrived at Eastwood at 10:30. My first thought was, "What the hell? Why does this place look like ghost town?" I didn't know that the mall opened at 12nn. The doors were opened though. So we went in. We went straight to the Cinema lobby, mainly because I knew that there was Starbucks there. But, of course, it was closed. (They're supposed to open at 12nn!) We went out the mall, and looked for the other Starbucks outlet. We found it, got our coffee (and my sticker booklet stamped!), went back to the Cinema lobby, went inside the moviehouse, looked for our seats, waited for the movie to start. Movie was supposed to start at 11:15, right? Good luck. It was 11:20 and the movie wasn't showing yet. There were so many people who came in after 11:15. that we were thinking that management delayed the showing to accommodate them. By this time, I already drank half my coffee, still sleepy and getting crankier by the minute. It didn't help that the people sitting on my left had a whole box of Yellow Cab pizza. Movie started 11:30.

Movie ended at 2pm. Ate at McDonald's. Got home 3pm. Slept 3:30pm. Woke up 7pm. Left house for work 8pm.

I need sleep!
